Insurance Defense Attorney - Law Firm (Remote in California)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Insurance Defense Attorney with experience in banking, real estate, and title insurance litigation to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload involving title disputes, lender liability, mortgage fraud, escrow issues, and related insurance defense matters.

Responsibilities:

• Represent title insurers, financial institutions, and insured parties in state and federal court litigation.
• Defend claims involving title defects, escrow errors, coverage disputes, lien priority issues, and fraudulent conveyances.
• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in insurance defense, with emphasis on title insurance or banking litigation preferred.
• Familiarity with title insurance underwriting practices, real estate transactions, and lender services.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency.
