Summary

The Clinical Director will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based care. This role involves direct supervision of clinical staff, compliance oversight, community engagement, and collaboration with administrative and medical teams to ensure effective and integrated program delivery.

Key Activities

• Provide clinical guidance, leadership, and supervision to counselors, therapists, and other clinical staff.
• Ensure adherence to ethical standards, clinical best practices, and professional guidelines.
• Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans based on assessments and client needs.
• Ensure all treatment approaches are grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CARF, OSHA).
• Monitor program performance and implement quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of clinical staff.
• Manage staff scheduling, professional development, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with a third-party billing provider for financial operations, including data sharing and coordination of billing-related processes.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, referral sources, and stakeholders.
• Represent the organization in outreach and engagement efforts.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical practices, regulatory standards, and behavioral health systems.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and data management systems.

Educations & Experience

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current and valid clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
