CNC Machinist needed for 1st shift for a Manufacturer in Cincinnati and Blue Ash, Ohio

1st shift hours: 7:00am - 3:30 pm

Monday - Friday

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking skilled, experienced CNC Machinists to join our team in the vertical milling department. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with at least 3 years of machinist experience who thrives in a high-mix, low-volume job-shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce precision machined parts by loading programs and performing fixture, vise, and tool setups while operating CNC machines.
• Study and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and materials to plan machining processes; ensure understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Verify settings, measure positions, and inspect first-run parts and samples to maintain high-quality standards.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain and update accurate records of job performance and results.

Desired Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a skilled machinist.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with CNC programming, setting tool registers, offsets, and compensation.
• Proficient in basic math, geometry, and trigonometry for machining calculations.
• Preventive maintenance experience and troubleshooting CNC machine malfunctions.
• Exposure to MasterCAM or other CAM software is a plus.
• Experience with HAAS and Fanuc CNC controls is a plus.

• Functional and technical skills, especially in machining processes and equipment.
• Strong coordination and measurement equipment knowledge.
