Job Title: Commercial Loan Officer

Location: Seattle, WA

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

About the Opportunity

A well-established, community-focused financial institution in Everett is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer to join its collaborative and customer-centric team. This position plays a key role in managing and growing a diverse commercial loan portfolio and will serve as a trusted resource to business clients in the region

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a sound commercial loan portfolio (C&I, CRE, and business loans)
  • Develop new client relationships and expand existing ones through active outreach and service
  • Analyze loan applications, financial statements, and supporting documentation
  • Structure, negotiate, and close loan transactions in compliance with lending policies
  • Monitor loan performance and ensure compliance with credit terms
  • Work closely with credit analysts and internal teams to evaluate risk and structure deals
  • Provide customized financial solutions to meet clients’ evolving needs
  • Support community involvement efforts on behalf of the institution
  • Perform other duties as required to support lending and relationship management initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial lending and relationship management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Formal credit training preferred
  • Deep knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable adopting new technologies
  • Ability to analyze complex financial and credit information
  • Strong business development and negotiation abilities

Work Environment & Expectations

  • Standard business office setting
  • 40-hour workweek, Monday–Friday
  • Some local, non-overnight travel may be required (5–10%)
