Project Manager Opportunity – Healthcare IT PMO

A leading hospital is seeking two experienced Project Managers to join its IT PMO team for a 1.5-2 year contract supporting a major Epic implementation . This remote role is open to candidates in PA, DE, VA, or MD , with occasional onsite visits.

Key Details:

• Title: Project Manager (2 openings)
• Duration: 1.5 - 2 years
• Location: Remote (PA, DE, VA, MD) with monthly onsite visits
• Rate: $115/hr
• Interview Process: Two rounds via Teams, scheduled next week
• Reason for Opening: Epic implementation, go-live in October 2026

Requirements:

• Experience working in a structured PMO environment
• Healthcare provider experience
• Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager
• At least 1 year of IT project management experience (preferably in applications)

Responsibilities:

• Lead clinical application projects, including EMR implementations and lab system migrations
• Ensure smooth documentation and transition for ongoing operational success
• Oversee 2-3 projects at a time, balancing strategy and execution
• Track and report progress using Planview and Microsoft Project
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
• Manage 60-70% application development projects, with some infrastructure-related initiatives
