Job Description

Position Summary:

Sunrgy Solar Distribution is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Human Resources Generalist to lead and manage all HR functions within the company. As the sole HR professional, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience, driving HR strategy, and supporting organizational growth. This position will also oversee internal communications to ensure alignment and engagement across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR matters, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding
  • Work with the executive team to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: draft job descriptions, post openings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate hiring decisions
  • Oversee new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, and employee recordkeeping
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs; liaise with benefit providers and ensure compliance with ACA, FMLA, and other regulations
  • Work the the executive team to provide guidance to managers and employees on HR issues, conflict resolution, and performance improvement
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and professional development initiatives
  • Lead internal communications efforts, including company announcements, newsletters, town halls, and change management communications
  • Partner with leadership to support company culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  • Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and a high level of service across all HR activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to manage multiple HR functions independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS systems is a plus
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus
