Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee HR operations, ensure legal compliance, and support a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor laws across multiple states, a keen focus on compliance, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. This role requires at least five years of HR management experience and occasional travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with business goals and legal requirements.
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a strong workforce.
Conduct training and development programs to enhance employee engagement and compliance awareness.
Maintain and update HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the finance department.
Handle investigations and resolve workplace issues in a fair and consistent manner.
Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR-related matters, including performance management and workforce planning.
Travel occasionally as needed to support multi-state operations.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a multi-state environment.
Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws (experience with compliance in multiple states is required).
Bilingual (English & Spanish) required must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
Experience handling compliance-related matters, including OSHA, EEOC, and other regulatory requirements.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel occasionally as business needs arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience working in the staffing or employment services industry is highly desirable.
