LSU Diagnostics is a Level 1 member of the National Animal Health Laboratory Network and is operated by a team of 42 faculty and staff who conduct over 65,000 tests annually. The laboratory offers more than 550 diagnostic services to assist veterinarians, animal owners, public officials, and organizations in identifying and addressing animal and public health concerns. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the laboratory, managing the team, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of test results. LSU Vet Med is one of only 33 veterinary schools in the United States and is experiencing growth as it aims to provide elite healthcare services in Louisiana and the region.
