Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, coach, and support a crew of machine operators, packers, and material handlers during night shift operations
• Manage shift handovers and ensure smooth transitions between day and night crews
• Facilitate training, cross-training, and performance feedback in alignment with company policies

Production Oversight

• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met across all lines
• Monitor production data, downtime, and line efficiency, addressing bottlenecks in real time
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce company policies, safety protocols, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Conduct shift safety meetings and ensure all employees are working safely and efficiently
• Report incidents or near-misses promptly and participate in investigations when needed

Communication & Reporting

• Prepare and submit shift reports, including production output, downtime, and staffing updates
• Communicate with the Production Manager and other supervisors to align on schedules, priorities, and shift coverage
• Promote teamwork and high morale within the crew

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment (plastics or packaging preferred)
• Strong understanding of production workflows, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures
• Excellent leadership and team-building abilities with strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment with rotating shifts
• Working knowledge of ERP or MES systems is a plus

Schedule Details:

• 2-2-3 Shift Pattern:
• Week 1: Work Monday & Tuesday, off Wednesday & Thursday, work Friday–Sunday
• Week 2: Off Monday & Tuesday, work Wednesday & Thursday, off Friday–Sunday
• 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
