About the Company : Our client in Buckhead is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst that will get the opportunity to be involved with M&A, Operational and Financial Analysis as well as process improvement.

About the Role : You would report to the Director of Finance located in their beautiful Buckhead office (5 days/week). Compensation is up to 120K base plus bonus.

Responsibilities :

• REPORTING & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:
• Provide weekly KPI reporting to Operational Management
• Assess the weekly results and highlight key takeaways; the Financial Planning & Analysis/FP&A team will partner with the operations leaders to drive business productivity and ensure the regions are on pace to meet/exceed budget
• Review weekly results with the Operations Region Leads and Operation Management during weekly regional calls; FP&A will have to coach operations on reporting/financial results
• Support business intelligence tool report creation and training
• Prepare month-end variance analysis reports
• Leverage understanding of the variances to drive tactical operational changes and forecast updates
• Expense analysis – determine areas of opportunity (where are regions seeing unfavorable spend trends?)
• Prepare executive Monthly Business Review presentations
• Executive review of month-end results, latest forecast, status of business
• Partner with Sales and Operations Region Leads to assess existing and potential business opportunities
• Perform ROI analysis of key spend

• BUDGETING/FORECASTING:
• Drive the forecasting & budgeting processes (in partnership with Senior Manager of Finance) and work extensively with Operational Region Leads to formulate assumptions and help identify risks/opportunities
• Participate in strategic discussions prior to annual budgeting

• PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:
• Make recommendations regarding changes in policies, procedures, tools, and internal controls
• Challenge the status quo and continuously seek opportunities to streamline functions
• Evaluate operations to assist operational management decision-making

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
• MBA and/or CPA and/or CMA is a plus
• Data Science Minor is a plus
• Two+ years accounting and/or financial analysis and planning experience
