We are currently seeking candidates to interview for the position of Stand Up Reach Truck Operator for a Cleveland area company. This position will be operating a Crown stand up reach forklift that will go as high as 4 levels and 2 bays deep so previous experience IS required to be considered. The position will be working in a cold environment. This is a full time, temp to hire position, with a starting pay rate of $20/hr. Working hours are 7a-330p, Monday-Friday with potential weekend overtime. Responsibilities
The stand-up reach truck operator, using a Crown forklift, is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, stacking, and storing materials within the warehouse/distribution center. This involves operating the reach truck up to 4 levels high and 2 bays deep to load, unload, and transport items, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The role also includes tasks such as inspecting product quality, accurately recording inventory movements, and potentially assisting with shipping and receiving duties.
The essential functions of this role include:
- working in a smoke free environment
- wearing steel toe shoes
- standing for 8 hours at one time
