Strategic IT & Integrations Director

*Hybrid 4 days on site in Linthicum Heights, MD*

Optomi, in partnership with a pet care services company, is seeking a Strategic IT & Integrations Director for a hybrid position in Linthicum Heights, MD. This candidate will oversee the optimization and effective use of the company’s core enterprise technology stack, ensuring that IT systems support operational excellence, scalability, and customer engagement through integrations and enhancements of HRIS, ERP, CRM, and POS systems. This candidate will preferably have a diverse system background with technical knowledge to assist them when working with technical teams.

  • 6-7+ years minimum of technical experience working with diverse array of systems (ERP, HRIS, payments, CRM, etc.)
  • Experience working closely with business & technical teams.
  • Have a mix of hands-on technical experience & higher-level business experience.
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work across finance, operations, and marketing teams.
  • Proven expertise in multi-unit consumer services, retail, healthcare, or private equity-backed businesses.

Nice to have:

  • Data warehousing experience.
  • Experience with Gingr POS, Netsuite, UKG, and Hubspot.
  • Experience within private sector, specifically retail, consumer services, OR coming from private equity background/having experience with M&As.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the long-term IT roadmap to support business growth, scalability, and efficiency appropriate for a business in early-stage development.
  • Responsible for vendor selection and oversight of future technology investments.
  • Develop and maintain an IT integrations playbook to standardize the onboarding process for newly acquired locations.
  • Ensure seamless system integration, data migration, and standardization across all acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, marketing, administration, and HR to support smooth post-acquisition transitions.
  • Oversee the development and optimization of a data warehouse integrating data from systems including: UKG, Gingr, Hubspot, and Netsuite.
  • Work closely with operations to translate business processes that flow into technical requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between functional teams and IT development resources to ensure system enhancements align with business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements across all locations.
