Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welding Equipment Repair Technician with welding experience to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of welding machines and related equipment. Your background in welding will help you understand the needs of our customers and ensure that all repairs meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair welding machines, plasma cutters, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of welding equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in welding systems.
  • Calibrate and test repaired equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding proper equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed service records and inventory of replacement parts.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding techniques).
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience repairing welding machines or other industrial equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or training in welding equipment repair or a related field.
  • Experience working with brands such as Miller, Lincoln, ESAB, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CNC cutting machines, robotic welding systems, or automation.
